DHF Volunteers

Connie Lord is not only Bonnie’s sister and a microbiologist but an excellent horsewoman as well.  Her love is Dressage and Eventing.  She enjoys teaching the horse as well as instructing the child. The advanced riders always ask for Connie when they arrive at DHF.

 

Calvin Waltz is our resident horse whisperer.  He has an amazing talent for working with some of our less fortunate horses.  With a natural talent to get the horse to trust him and join up he is a wonderful addition to DHF.  The kids love him and he loves to share his knowledge with them.

Pastor Rory Leguee – Pastor Rory has been a great addition to DHF.  He gives nearly all of the messages following snack time.  He has also been overseeing our BB target shooting group.  Pastor Rory has a heart for children and families. He has created a boys youth group called the ‘Torch’ club along with the assistance of Gene Martin. Gene’s wife, Michele provides snacks for the group while Pastor Rory provides a Bible lesson for discussion. The group prays together and then enjoy partaking in various games and sports. The boys attending Torch are learning how to build character as well as learning about the Bible.
